Caravaggio
The title of this piece is David with the head of Goliath c1610. The medium that he used is oil paints on the canvas. The size of this painting is 125cm x 101cm. Caravaggio made this painting in Galleria Borghese, Rome, Italy around about 1910. He made this painting represent about David and Goliath the story where a David and goliath. Goliath was a giant that got toking down by David. In his time he moved around cities and towns a lot because he was in a lot of fights. He accused of murder and fled from Rome because someone had place a price on his head. This piece of painting is a portrait. The piece made a dark background to show the image more bold because the only light you see is the person and the head making it show out.

The piece makes me feel like it was a big fight that they had and someone won in the end of the fight showing that they more power than the other person who lost and died in the battle losing their head. This show that he lost his body because it is not with the head and you see blood coming out.

Chuck Close
He painting style is called photorealism. He use images and photograph, he used ink and a grid technique to enlarge his work that he made. The size of his work the self-portrait is 102 x 84. The way that he made this piece the self-portrait is using a gridded block directly on to the canvas. Right now the piece is in New York.
The piece is made in 1997, I don’t know where it is made and the person that made this piece is chuck close. This piece is a portrait. It show that chuck close like to use block of squares in his work.
The work is a self-portrait and it show it is a self-portrait the mood in the piece show that he does not look happy about what he is doing. The way I feel about the piece is that he is feeling down about what he is doing. The texture looks like it is not smooth.

She a relationship with Diego Rivera who is a painter as well, they got married in 1929.

The size of Frida Kahlo self-portrait is 25 x19Cm. She was best known for her self-portrait. The colour in this self-portrait show that it look like the sun is taking out a bit of the colours in the work. She used oil paint on the canvas. In this piece on the left side of her shoulder is a black cat that symbol bad luck and death and on the right side of her shoulder is a monkey that symbol of the devil, her pet a gift from Diego. The butterflies represent the resurrection. This piece is a portrait.
